Serious topics don’t need to be boring

Sarah, our resident Twitter addict, sent me the link to this Kaiser Permanente advertisement after seeing a tweet about it from Kait Swanson:

 

I think this is adorable, funny, and conveys a serious topic in a fun manner that is viral in that it’s cute enough that I’m going to send it along to a few friends and family members. If you–or one of your clients–is considering uploading a video to YouTube on a serious topic, think about how KP has framed this issue. Think about what kind of commercial you’d forward along. Just because a topic is serious, doesn’t mean it has to be treated in dull manner!
